We are a small Tauranga based law firm providing clear, practical family and property law advice you can understand.  ​

David Calderwood and Jodi Nicols established CN Law with a vision is to grow a successful firm known for its people and its performance. Since 2017, we’ve focused on building a firm people trust. ​Where is CN Law located?
We are conveniently located in Tauranga at 24 Park Street. 

Park Street is a one way street with entry from the Cameron Road end.

Is there parking available at your office?
Yes. We offer free off-street parking for clients when visiting our office.

Do I need an appointment to see a lawyer?
Yes, appointments are recommended.  Please either phone or email us to arrange an appointment that suits you.

Can I speak to a lawyer before coming in?
Yes. We are happy to discuss your situation by phone or email first and let you know how we can help.

 

Do you offer Legal Aid?
Yes. CN Law offers Legal Aid for eligible family law matters, and we can also help you apply for Legal Aid.

 

Is CN Law a large law firm?
No. We are a small, friendly team focused on providing personalised, practical legal advice.

 

What types of legal matters do you help with?
We assist with family law, relationship property, Legal Aid matters, property law (including buying and selling homes), refinancing, wills, enduring powers of attorney, and estates. 
If your legal matter isn’t listed, please contact us - we’ll let you know if we can help or refer you to a lawyer who can.

I’m worried about the cost - are lawyers expensive?
It’s very common to worry about legal costs. At CN Law, we are upfront about fees and aim to be transparent from the start. We will explain how fees are calculated and, where possible, provide estimates or quotes before work begins. Some legal matters can become more complex than initially expected. If this happens, we will keep you informed, discuss any changes, and talk through options so there are no surprises.
